Singer Seo In-young to walk the aisle with content creation company CEO

Singer Seo In-young will marry the CEO of a content creation company in the second half of this year.

Seo and Choi Ji-hoon, the co-CEO of content creation company NP plan to hold the wedding before the end of the year, though no date has been set, a representative for the singer said Sunday.

Seo had already discussed being in a relationship on her YouTube channel.

Asked on the channel whether she was currently dating, she answered "Of course" without hesitation. "I haven't taken a break from dating since elementary school," she said.

She also described how she met her current partner.

"The guy wasn't my type," she said.

The two had been set up to meet on a blind date, but one day before the meeting she was out with four or five friends and asked him to join them a day early. "Honestly, isn't it hard to show up to something like that?" she said.

His entrance changed her mind. "The moment he walked in, he was smiling and didn't avoid eye contact," she said. "That was attractive, so I started seeing him."

Seo debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry and won fans with hits including "One More Time" (2008) and "Super Star" (2005). She launched a solo career in 2007 and scored further success with songs such as "Cinderella" (2008).

Seo previously married a businessman in 2023 and divorced by mutual agreement a little over a year later.
