The “Golden” (2025) streak continues, as the hit song from the “KPop Demon Hunters” (2025) soundtrack nabbed the Song of the Year award at the American Music Awards on Monday.

The K-pop-themed track beat nine other competitors, including Alex Warren's “Ordinary” (2025), Kehlani's “Folded” (2025) and Morgan Wallen's “I'm The Problem” (2025).

“Golden” was also short-listed for Best Pop Song, and the movie earned a nomination for Best Soundtrack.

Meanwhile, megaband BTS has been nominated in three categories this year, including the flagship Artist of the Year award. The septet is competing against global stars such as Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.
