For fans coming to Busan for BTS's concert but struggling to find a place to stay, tranquil temple stays have been added to the list of possible accommodations.

Eight temples in Busan and South Gyeongsang will allow fans visiting Busan for the BTS concert, set to take place on June 12 and 13, to book a stay, according to the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism on Friday.

Applications for temple stays at Beomeo Temple, Hongbeop Temple and Seonam Temple, all in Busan, will be available via the Visit Busan website

Temple stay applications for South Gyeongsang-based temples — Pyochung Temple, Tongdo Temple, Daegwang Temple and Seongju Temple — will be available via the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism's temple stay reservation website. According to the organization, the application pages will go live over the weekend.

Applications to stay at Busan's Naewonjung Temple were also open via Visit Busan, but have now been closed.

Temple stay participants will be able to experience traditional experience programs and try monastic meals.

The Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism and the eight temples are also discussing offering translation assistance during the temple stay to help foreign tourists who might not be comfortable with Korean.

"BTS's Busan concert is an important cultural event in which fans from all around the world will visit Korea and Busan," said a spokesperson for the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism. "We hope to share our spirit of hospitality with fans struggling to find accommodations and help visitors to Busan leave with safe and warm memories."
