The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) has revealed the list of participating companies for its annual Job Fair for International Students, with applications for both companies and international students still open.
This year's edition will be held on June 1 and 2 at COEX in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. The Job Fair for International Students is a subsection of Kotra's Global Talent Fair, which will also feature other career-related events like the Job Fair for Foreign Invested Companies and the Job Fair for Overseas Employment.
As of Tuesday, around 80 Korean companies have registered, including pharmaceutical firm Huons, Jeonbuk Bank and Samyang Foods, each running a recruiting booth with mock interviews and career counseling. More companies may be added before the fair.
On top of such one-on-one company consultations, the fair will feature a special talk on recruitment, as well as resume reviews and professional headshot photography, available to those who preregister through the official website.
The schedule for the preregistration has yet to be announced.
Prospective attendees can sign up for participation in the event via the international student section of the
event's official website, where the full list of participating companies and open positions is also available.
K-campus, a platform for international students run by the Korea JoongAng Daily, will run a booth at the fair where it will host participant events and offer career information.
