BTS pop-up store to launch in Busan Shinsegae on Friday
BTS's pop-up store will open at the Shinsegae Department Store in Busan from Friday to June 14.
Held at the Shinsegae Department Store's Centum City branch, the store will launch to coincide with BTS's upcoming concerts in the city on Friday and Saturday.
The pop-up will be in the basement and on the second floor of the department store.
The basement will only be open to fans who have secured a reservation prior to their visit. It will feature new Busan-exclusive merchandise and existing BTS merchandise for purchase.
The second-floor pop-up will allow fans to “feel the music of BTS with their five senses,” according to Shinsegae.
“We've prepared a pop-up so visitors can make the tour more memorable,” a Shinsegae spokesperson said.
Shinsegae also opened a pop-up store at its flagship Main Branch in Jung District, central Seoul, when the band performed at Gwanghwamun in April.
BTS kicked off its “Arirang” world tour on April 9 in Goyang, Gyeonggi, and has performed in Tokyo; Tampa, Florida; El Paso, Texas; Mexico City; San Francisco; and Las Vegas so far. Following the Busan leg of the tour on June 12 and 13, the band will perform in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.
