Fruit prices still high

Various fruits are on display at a shop in Yeongcheon Market in Seodaemun District, western Seoul, on May 17. Agricultural prices have broadly stabilized on the back of increased spring harvests and favorable growing conditions. While prices for major vegetables have fallen sharply compared to a year ago, seasonal fruits such as watermelon and oriental melon continue to be sold at elevated prices.
