LG Twins bolster lineup and look to snap 20-year cold streak

The LG Twins have had a difficult few decades.

Despite being one of the league’s founding teams, they haven’t won a title since 1994. Things are starting to look up, however, with the Seoul club becoming playoff regulars for the last 10 years.

The arrival of former major leaguer Kim Hyun-soo a few years back helped to boost that slow resurgence, and the Twins re-signed the old slugger during the offseason.

The Twins welcome back ace pitcher Casey Kelly for a fourth season, while adding some strength to the batting lineup with the addition of major league veteran Rio Ruiz.

LG also snapped up top outfielder Park Hae-min, adding even more strength to the roster as the Twins look to break that 20-year curse.
