Korea’s run in London voted top sports news

Korea’s record-setting performance at the London Olympics was voted the top sports news of the year 2012, a poll of local media by Yonhap News Agency showed yesterday as other Olympic-related topics dominated the list.

In the survey of 50 Korean newspapers and broadcasters, Korea’s fifth-place finish at the medal standings in London, the best position in an away Olympics, topped the list.
