The Democratic Party (DP) on Friday withdrew a criminal complaint against Lim Mi-ri, a history professor at Korea University, who criticized the ruling party in a newspaper column, following fierce public backlash. No apology, however, was offered by DP Chairman Lee Hae-chan, who was the complainant.
