Lee Young-ryeol, former head of the Seoul Central Prosecutors’ Office, was helped by his deputy Roh Seung-kwon after drinking too much last week following his demotion for exchanging cash envelopes with other prosecutors during a dinner. Lee and Roh were close to former President Park Geun-hye’s Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs Woo Byung-woo.
