After the Ministry of Justice submitted to the National Assembly a motion to allow the arrest of opposition lawmaker Choi Kyung-hwan on charges of receiving so-called “special activities expenses” from the National Intelligence Service, the opposition Liberty Korea Party, of which Choi is a member, decided not to join the vote on his fate.
