Frozen festivities

Revelers ride bicycle-sleighs Tuesday on the frozen river in Hwacheon County, Gangwon, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the Demilitarized Zone. The annual ice festival, which comes to an end on Sunday, includes events such as ice fishing, sledding and an exhibition of ice sculptures.
