Archbishop's Commemorative Message for Buddha's Birthday

Jong Jin-sok, a Primate of Seoul Parish Catholic Church sent a commemorative message to the Buddhist community in celebration of Buddha's birthday on May 1. "I wish Buddha's spirit of benevolence and favor would spread all over the country."

Primate Jong commented, "The Buddhist community is playing a major role in the practice of benevolence via it benevolence movement for neighborhoods." He continued, "Religious society should come together and help people to live in harmony with truth, virtue, and beauty."
