The three members of the radio program “Onggura,” Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon and Yu Sang-mu, expressed their apologies during a Tuesday night press conference for comments they made last year in a previously recorded radio segment.

“We held a press conference today to apologize for the overall comments we made while recording the podcast,” said Jang Dong-min.

“We are very sorry to the people who were mentioned in the radio program.”

According to Jang, the three members were focused on making the program funny, which led them to make some extreme commentary, which included demeaning remarks about women as well as one of the survivors of the 1995 Sampoong Department Store disaster.

After Jang’s previous comments resurfaced, the 35-year-old comedian was forced to step down from the “Sixth Man Project,” a spin-off of the reality TV show “Infinite Challenge,” and “Jang Dong-min and Lady Jane’s 2 O’clock.”
