Maya might come back with a new album

Korean singer Maya, whose real name is Kim Young-sook, will come back to the music scene after six years with a full-length album.

Maya’s latest appearance on television was on the SBS drama “Ugly Alert,” which finished last November. She hinted at her comeback by posting a note online that called for a make-up artist to work with her in her upcoming music video. This is her first official announcement in eight months.

It is not yet known why Maya is looking for make-up artists for her music video.

“The working process will be done in private as not a lot of information can be revealed. We hope to add depth and add a new layer on Maya’s evolving music style through make-up artists,” said an associate.

Maya, who has had hit songs like “Azalea” and “Shout Myself,” has aroused curiosity on what her newest music will be.
