Korea's new Covid-19 cases drop to 55,437 Thursday

The number of new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea was 55,437 Thursday, remaining in the same range as the same day from a week before, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.

The number of critically ill patients was 380, and there were 67 deaths — the largest number of deaths in about two months.

The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stood at 26,412,901.
