Korea reported 43,759 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, surpassing 40,000 for the first time in just over a month, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The number of critically ill patients was 225 and there were 17 deaths.
The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stands at 25,355,350.
