Korea pledges $1 million for Colombia after deadly earthquake

Korea will provide $1 million in humanitarian aid to Colombia to help the country recover from a recent deadly earthquake, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday.

"We hope this aid will help the country's recovery efforts and ensure a swift return to normalcy for its people," the Foreign Ministry said, adding the donation will be delivered through an international organization operating in Colombia.

The South American country was hit by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake earlier this week that has killed over 200 people.
