Korea, Ireland to increase age limit for working holiday schemes

Korea and Ireland will increase the age limit for working holiday schemes in both nations, said the Foreign Ministry in Seoul on Thursday.
Through the revision of their agreement, the maximum age of participants in the two countries' working holiday programs has been raised from 30 to 34, and the quota has also been expanded from 600 to 800, said the ministry.
The agreement was first signed between the two nations in 2009 and 4,560 Koreans aged between 18 and 30 have participated in working holiday schemes in Ireland as of last year, according to the ministry.
