The Ministry of National Defense yesterday released photos showing the damage from North Korea’s artillery attacks on Yeonpyeong Island to remind people of North Korea’s attack in the run-up to the first anniversary of the shelling on Nov. 23. A supply warehouse of the Marine base on the island has been preserved with a shell hole in its ceiling and burnt frames on the floor. [YONHAP]
