Covid cases in Korea jump back up to 47,917

New confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea recorded 47,917 Tuesday, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, a steep jump from Monday’s 19,407.

The number critically ill patients was 497, while there were 24 deaths.

The accumulative total of confirmed cases stood at 24,461,737.
