Chain reaction

A 43-car pileup on the Jungang Expressway heading toward Busan in Hwaseong County, Gangwon is shown in video footage captured Friday by the Korea Expressway Corporation. The accident occurred around 10 a.m. when a vehicle skidded across the road and collided with a guardrail, leading one bus, seven trucks and 35 passenger cars to collide with one another.
