AOA to launch 3-member spinoff

A spin-off group of AOA will release a digital single in February.

According to music industry insiders, the project group will consist of Yuna, Chanmi and Hyejeong, and the trio is likely to release a new track after the Lunar New Year holiday.

The eight-member K-pop group AOA was launched in 2012 and has been releasing digital singles and mini albums. The group’s last digital single, “Heart Attack,” was released last June.

AOA successfully carved a name for itself in the sea of girl groups last year, with member Seolhyun having an especially busy year.
