Young Posse to hold solo concert in Tokyo on Sept. 22

Girl group Young Posse will hold a solo concert in Tokyo on Sept. 22, agency DSP Media said Sunday.

The event, titled “Young Posse Live: Hey Tokyo 2026,” will be staged twice at Shibuya Stream Hall. 

The concert title comes from a lyric in “Mr 2026,” the lead track from the group’s first mixtape, “young tape,” released on July 13. The song reinterprets “Mister” (2009) by girl group KARA.

The shows will be Young Posse’s second solo concert in Tokyo in four months. The group held “Tokyo, Don’t Go to Bed Tonight” at music venue Harlem in Shibuya on May 29.

Young Posse debuted in October 2023 with EP “Macaroni Cheese.” The five-member group consists of Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun.

The group will also hold its first European tour “Pilot3: 2026 The 1st Flight to Europe with Young Posse,” with stops in London on Oct. 25, Paris on Oct. 28, Barcelona on Oct. 29, Berlin on Nov. 1 and Krakow on Nov. 3.
