With over 1.8 billion views, Blackpink's "Ddudu Ddu-du" became the most-watched K-pop music video on YouTube as of Tuesday.

블랙핑크의 '뚜두뚜두'의 유튜브 뮤직비디오 조회 수가 화요일 기준 누적 18억 회를 넘으며 K팝 뮤직비디오 중 유튜브에서 가장 많이 조회된 영상이 되었다.

“It is the first time that a K-pop group’s music video garnered 1.8 billion views,” explained the group’s agency YG Entertainment. “At this rate, we believe that the video’s views will achieve the 2 billion mark within this year.”

소속사 YG엔터테인먼트는 K팝 그룹의 뮤직비디오로는 최초 조회 수라며 "현 추세라면 연내 20억 뷰 달성도 불가능하지 않아 보인다"고 설명했다.

The music video of "Ddu-du Ddu-du" was released on June 15, 2018. "Ddu-du Ddu-du" is the lead track on the girl group’s first EP “Square Up” which consists of three other songs — “Forever Young,” “Really,” and “See U Later.”

'뚜두뚜두' 는 2018년 6월 15일에 공개됐다. '뚜두뚜두'는 그룹의 미니앨범 “Square Up” 의 리드 트랙이다. 그외에도 앨범은 3개의 수록곡 “Forever Young,” “Really,” 그리고 “See U Later”로 구성되어 있다.

Soon after the release of "Ddu-du Ddu-du," the song saw international success, ranking 55th on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
