Singer Kang Kyun-sung to marry actor Yu Ha-jin in October

R&B quartet Noel’s Kang Kyun-sung will marry actor Yu Ha-jin in October, Kang’s agency S27M Entertainment said on Tuesday.

Their wedding will take place at a venue in Seoul on Oct. 30, according to the agency.

“The two have decided to spend their future together based on their deep trust and affection for one another,” S27M Entertainment said.

“Kang decided to marry [Yu] because of his deep love for and confidence in his bride-to-be. He will continue his career as both an artist and a husband.”

The singer previously shared the news on social media on Monday.

“I’ve met someone precious with whom I want to walk together through life,” he wrote. “I’m grateful to Noeulbit [the name of the quartet’s fandom], who has always supported me and with whom I’ve shared so many meaningful moments. I would be deeply grateful if you continue to watch over us warmly and bless our future together.”

Born in 1981, Kang debuted as a member of Noel in 2002. The group is known for hit songs such as “Even I Grab You” (2002), “Proposal” (2004, translated) and “I Miss You” (2011).

Yu was born in 1995 and debuted in 2019 in the MBC series “One Spring Night.” She recently appeared in the play “Rented Apartment,” which concluded its run on Sunday.
