Rock band FT Island releases new Japanese single 'Lemonade'

 Rock band FT Island released its 21st Japanese single, titled “Lemonade,” on Wednesday, according to its agency FNC Entertainment.

The title track “Lemonade” is a pop-punk song. Its lyrics liken the band’s trajectory to the “sweet and sour” flavor of lemonade and convey its pursuit of moving forward, the agency said in a press release.

The single also includes two other tracks: “Mask” and “When you’re close.”

The first live performance of the new release is set to take place during a concert in Japan as part of the group’s “FaTe” tour later this month.

The band will hold a series of shows at Niterra Forest Hall in Nagoya on Sunday; Kobe Kokusai Hall in Kobe on Sept. 19 and 20; and Tokyo Garden Theater in Tokyo on Sept. 26 and 27.

FT Island, which debuted in 2007, is known for hits such as “Love Sick” (2007), “I Hope” (2009) and “Severely” (2012).
