NCT 127 to perform on 'America's Got Talent'

Boy band NCT 127 will perform as a special guest on NBC's "America's Got Talent” (2006–) next Wednesday, five days before the band releases its seventh full-length album “Blingy.” 

“K-pop superstars NCT 127 will light up the AGT stage as special guest performers on Aug 19 8/7c on NBC!” the show's official X account said in a post on Thursday, referring to the show by its acronym. 

The episode will air at 8 p.m. Eastern time from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California. 

The boy band will also headline the opening night of KCON LA on Friday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. 

Boy band NCT 127 debuted as a Seoul-based subgroup of SM Entertainment's NCT in 2016. “Blingy,” its seventh full-length album, also lands in the band's 10th anniversary year. The album will feature nine total tracks, including the title track of the same name.

NCT 127-themed outdoor advertisements ran in New York and Los Angeles last month.
