Katseye documentary to hit theaters in August

HYBE says “Katseye: Wild Hearts” will open in theaters worldwide on Aug. 12, tracing the group’s first two years through festival footage, fan clips and member interviews.

Girl group Katseye will release a documentary in theaters next month, its agency HYBE said Thursday.

The official trailer of “Katseye: Wild Hearts” was uploaded on the group’s official social media and YouTube channels on Wednesday. The 55-second video shows the group's performances at major music festivals — Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Lollapalooza — as well as behind-the-scenes footage.

The documentary is set to revisit the past two years since its debut in June 2024. It is expected to feature fan-submitted clips from Eyekons, the group's fandom, with candid interviews featuring the members.

The documentary will be released in theaters worldwide on Aug. 12. Details of participating theaters will be announced at a later date.

Katseye is jointly managed by record labels HYBE from Korea and Geffen Records from the United States. The group was formed through the audition show “The Debut: Dream Academy” (2023). It is known for its singles “Gabriela” (2025) and “Gnarly” (2025).
