Boy band IDID marked its first anniversary with an ever-stronger bond with fans and among members, as well as a clearer identity as a group, according to an interview shared by the group’s agency Starship Entertainment on Tuesday.

“Trust among the members has deepened after everything we have been through together for a year,” said Kim Min-jae. Kim singled out teamwork as the biggest takeaway.

“Now, we have come to enjoy ourselves onstage,” said Jeong Se-min. "At first, we were busy finding which cameras [were filming us], but now we make eye contact with audiences and connect with them.”

Beyond their reflection on the past year, the members largely agreed on one thing: Time had flown by.

“It has been the shortest year in my life,” said Baek Jun-hyuk when asked how he felt about the first anniversary. Jeong also echoed the same sentiment.

Jang Yong-hoon noted that the past year felt like a dream. “I am excited to keep making more precious memories that we have made so far,” Jang added.

Among its works, two members chose “Fly!” as their favorite. Kim and Park Seong-hyeon noted that they “learned a lot” through preparation and music video filming.

The members vowed to broaden their musical presentations and stay connected with their fans.

“I want to experiment with various styles of music and show them through performances,” said Jang.

“As much as I am comforted through music, I want to comfort Withid [through our music],” said Baek, referring to the group’s fans by official fandom name, Withid.

The seven-member group debuted with the EP “I did it.” (2025). It has since released the digital single “Push Back” (2025) and the single “Fly!”
