Hearts2Hearts makes official Japanese debut with 'Iconic Heart'

Girl group Hearts2Hearts made its official Japanese debut on Wednesday with the release of its first Japanese single "Iconic Heart," according to SM Entertainment.

Following its digital release on Monday, the physical copy was released in Japan on Wednesday.

"Iconic Heart" contains three tracks: the title track and Japanese-language versions of "Lemon Tang" and "Rude!"

The group also held a "live&talk" event — a mini concert consisting of performances and talks with fans — in Tokyo to mark its Japanese debut.

It will also participate in several festivals — Wangan Festival of Mezamashi TV, Inazuma Rock Festival and Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 in Matsuyama and Yokohama — and give a special performance at a baseball game between Saitama Seibu Lions and Orix Buffaloes at Tokyo Dome.

Hearts2Hearts debuted with the single "The Chase" in February 2025 under SM Entertainment with eight members. Ahead of its official Japanese debut, the group appeared on several Japanese programs such as "Music Station" (1986–), a music show on TV Asahi, "Tokyo Girls Collection 2026" held in Niigata and the Japanese music YouTube channel "The First Take."
