Girl group Kara's Hur Young-ji tests positive for coronavirus

Girl group Kara member Hur Young-ji has tested positive for Covid-19, her agency DSP Media announced Monday.

“Our Artist Hur Young-ji has recently experienced health problems so she used a self-test kit for Covid-19 and and it came out positive,” the agency said in a statement. “She immediately underwent an official test, which confirmed the result.”  

The agency said Hur is following the instructions given by health authorities and has been transferred to a treatment facility.  

Hur is currently appearing on various entertainment programs including tvN’s “Comedy Big League” and Kakao TV’s “Change Days.”
