Comedian Cho Sae-ho to marry noncelebrity girlfriend in October

Cho Sae-ho will tie the knot in a ceremony on Oct. 20, the comedian announced Wednesday.

The comedian shared the news of his marriage in a video uploaded to the social media page for tvN's “You Quiz on the Block,” a comedy show he co-hosts with Yu Jae-suk.

“I’ve always wanted to share any good news through 'You Quiz,'” Cho said to Yu in the video.

“It’s my first time getting married since I was born, so I’m nervous and want to be well prepared,” the comedian said.

In January, it was reported that Cho was dating a noncelebrity girlfriend nine years younger than him. His agency confirmed the relationship, stating that they had been dating for a year and were planning to marry in 2024.

Cho debuted as a comedian under SBS in 2001 and is best known as co-host of “You Quiz on the Block.” His latest work as a panel member for Netflix's reality show “Super Rich in Korea” will premiere on May 7.
