Boy band SF9 to celebrate 10th anniversary with full-length album, special events

Boy band SF9 will return with its second full-length album “Tenacity” on Aug. 26, its agency FNC Entertainment said on Friday.

The album’s title references the group’s tenth anniversary, according to the agency.

SF9 debuted as a nine-member band under FNC Entertainment with its single “Fanfare” in October 2016. The group became an octet after Rowoon left the team in 2023.

To mark its 10th anniversary this year, SF9 kicked off a series of anniversary activities in March by releasing the special album “About Love,” consisting entirely of ballads. A Japanese edition of the special album featuring additional Japanese-language versions of its songs followed in June.

Alongside the release of “Tenacity,” other upcoming anniversary events include a pop-up store, a livestream on the anniversary of its debut and a concert in Seoul.
