Blackpink fully in your area: All 4 members to attend 10th anniversary event

Blackpink will celebrate the group's 10th anniversary with a small meet-and-greet event attended by all four members of the girl group. 

"We have confirmed with [individual] labels that all four members will be attending [the meet-and-greet]," YG Entertainment told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Friday, addressing earlier concerns that some members might not be there.

Local media Mydaily reported earlier Friday that member Lisa was not attending the 10th anniversary event. 

YG Entertainment is responsible for the group activities of Blackpink, but the four members — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — are all under separate agencies for their individual activities. 

The agency posted a notice on Thursday announcing a fan event for the girl group's 10th anniversary after fans criticized the agency for not organizing any special events to celebrate the occasion. 

"We sincerely thank Blink for being with Blackpink for the 10 years since debut," the agency said Thursday, referring to the group's fandom. "We have arranged a special event to celebrate the occasion." 

The event, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, lacked the exact event time and venue as the notice only said "in a certain place in Seoul." 

The notice also had a fine print: Only some Blackpink members (those whose schedules permit) are expected to attend this event.

The event sign-up was also only open to Blackpink's Weverse membership subscribers from 1 p.m. on Thursday to 10 p.m.

Blackpink debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment with its album "Square One." The four members' contract with the agency concluded in 2023, and none of the members renewed. Jennie founded her own agency, OA Entertainment; Rosé signed with The Black Label; Lisa founded her own agency, Lloud; and Jisoo founded her own agency, Blissoo.
