Alpha Drive One to release album in the U.S. 

Boy band Alpha Drive One will release its upcoming second EP in the United States on Oct. 2, its agency WakeOne said Sunday. 

The band's second EP "Unbreakable: Beast" with its lead track "Born Dire," goes on sale in Korea on Aug. 24. 

The move comes after its agency WakeOne signed a partnership with Republic Collective, the Universal Music Group division, to push Alpha Drive One and girl group izna into overseas markets.

The band had already appeared on "Good Day L.A." (1993–) on Friday, the weekday morning news program that airs on KTTV, the Los Angeles station of Fox. The members introduced the band and its music to local viewers and talked about the upcoming EP. 

Alpha Drive One also joined KCON LA 2026 and will perform its first concert in the United States on Sunday. KCON LA kicked off on Friday at Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. 

The band is also scheduled to appear in BuzzFeed content and an interview with Apple Music is also scheduled to be released, according to the agency. 

Alpha Drive One debuted Jan. 12 with EP "Euphoria." The eight-member group was formed through Mnet's audition show "Boys II Planet" (2025). Alpha Drive One has been promoting as a seven-member band since April, when member Kim Geon-woo paused his group activities on April 8 after allegedly making inappropriate remarks at a content shoot.
