Shinhan Bank said Monday it released a service that enables customers open brokerage accounts at nine different brokerages at once using the bank's mobile app, dubbed Shinhan SOL.
The nine brokerages include Mirae Asset Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, and Hanwha Investment & Securities.
"We dramatically slimmed down the processes needed to make new brokerage accounts considering customer needs to take part in large initial public offerings scheduled later this year," Shinhan Bank said in a statement.
The bank said it plans to expand partnerships with more brokerages in the future.
