LG Energy Solution was in the black in third quarter

LG Energy Solution estimated its third-quarter operating profit at 521.9 billion won ($369.5 million), turning from a loss of 372.8 billion won a year earlier.

The figure exceeds a market consensus of 406 billion won as reported by market tracker FnGuide.

Sales jumped 89.9 percent to 7.64 trillion won, according to a preliminary earnings announcement on Friday. It also beat the consensus of 6.27 trillion won.  

Neither net profit nor segmentation were provided.

The company will release its final earnings report later.
