The Fair Trade Commission (FTC) launched an on-site investigation into dominant platform operators Naver and Coupang on Tuesday to secure data related to membership termination agreements. The agency is examining whether these companies made it difficult to terminate memberships before the policy’s expiration or failed to properly notify users of possible midterm cancellation.
