A brokerage firm smartphone app notifies users that starting Monday, lowered tax rates are applied on all stock exchanges. The transaction rate imposed on Kospi stocks has been lowered from 0.15 percent to 0.1 percent, while the rate imposed on Kosdaq stocks has dropped from 0.3 percent to 0.25 percent.
