Airlines introduce promotions before Korea’s ‘family month’

Foreign airlines have introduced a series of promotions on tickets ahead of May, so-called “family month” in Korea. Garuda Indonesia said Tuesday it will offer two business class round-trip tickets to Bali for 1.08 million won, which includes fuel and airport taxes, for passengers flying between May 5 and May 9.

In Korea, May 5 is Children’s Day and Parents’ Day falls on May 8. Finn Air will offer a business class ticket to one of 28 European nations for 2.62 million won. The promotion runs until April 10 and passengers purchasing a ticket must depart before June 30.

Starting Wednesday, China Southern Airlines will offer a round-trip ticket to Dairen, China, for 132,400 won and a round-trip ticket to Manila at 325,900 won, on the first seven days of every month.
